Lake Okeechobee is the " big water " the Indians were referring to, and a big lake it is. The largest lake in the U.S. without a natural outlet. .Maybe it has no outlet but it has some of the biggest Bass anywhere. Fishermen and boaters from around the world come to spent weeks looking for the really big ones, as the fishing is great all year long. The landscaping, not only around the lake but thoughout the entire county, is very beautiful. Peace and quiet are pass words to enter this state of mind.
